This past week Amazon announced earnings. AWS sales increased 42 percent to $3.66 billion. That’s a $14.6B annual run rate. Some highlights:
  • AWS operates 42 Availability Zones across 16 infrastructure regions worldwide. 
  • Customers have migrated more than 23,000 databases using the AWS Database Migration since 2016
  • And yes, Snapchat announced an agreement to use $1 billion of AWS services over the next five years.
